๐ Charlotte NC / Greenville SC Food Diary | Bricktop's ๐
Kicked off Saturday with brunch at First Watch โ sat outside soaking up the sun and pretending we're fancy ๐ โ๏ธ. Later joined a housewarming party and met so many amazing young Charlotte locals โ such a warm community! Sunday brought us to Texas Roadhouse in Gastonia on our way back to SC. Finally tried their famous peanuts, fresh bread, and that legendary drip sauce โ but honestly, my Prime Rib was just okay. John's Ribeye, though? Now that was a winner! ๐ฅฉ๐ Got back to Greenville thinking we'd skip dinner... until our dear friends detoured from Atlanta to Charlotte just to see our new place! ๐ก๐ So of course, we had to hang out... Four of us ended up at Bricktop's โ a solid American restaurant with locations in both Charlotte and Greenville. Friends say the Charlotte spot has a kids' menu with adult-sized portions! ๐ The Greenville location has that classic, cozy vibe, and the food totally delivered. Expect around $50+ per person. ๐ฝ๏ธ My Top Picks: The Wedges Salad with Thousand Island dressing ๐ฅ Alfredo Pasta as a side dish (so creamy!)The Chocolate Chip Cookie dessert โ perfect for sharing if you have a serious sweet tooth! ๐ซ๐ ๐ Address: 1 N Main St H, Greenville, SC 29601 After a weekend of eating out, it's definitely time for some light weekday meals to balance things outโฆ ๐ฅฆ๐ต #CharlotteEats #GreenvilleSC #Brictops #AmericanDining #WeekendEats #FoodDiary #SouthernFood #TexasRoadhouse #PrimeRib #Ribeye #Housewarming #FriendsAndFood #CLTtoGVL #WeekendRecap
