Checked in at the JW Marriott Washington DC! 🎉

It's famously known as the very first JW Marriott in the world! 🌍✨ Booked a 3-night stay using points over the New Year's period, and with taxes, it came out to less than $2500 per night. 💳💫 As a Platinum member, my basic room was upgraded one tier to a room with a fantastic Monument view! 🗽👀 Also received a $36 (if I remember correctly!) daily credit. 🎁 The lounge served both breakfast and evening hors d'oeuvres (HH), though it was super crowded during these times – likely because it was the holiday season! 🥂🍽️ The location is absolutely excellent – just cross the street from the front door and you're at the White House! 🏛️ The public transportation options are also very convenient. 🚇 Have you ever stayed at a historic "first" location of a hotel chain?
