Checked Off DC's One-Michelin-Star Rose’s Luxury ⭐️

Rose’s Luxury has been on my list forever, and I finally got to try it recently. Overall, the service was great, but the food was just… okay. 😐 • Truffled Madeleines – This oddly satisfying combo was delicious! The subtle saltiness and aroma of truffle elevated a simple pre-meal bite. 🍄✨ • Complimentary Caramelized Fried Cauliflower – A weird mix, but not bad! 🥦 • Pork & Lychee Salad – Probably my favorite dish of the night! I love creative Asian flavors, and this felt very Thai-inspired—yogurt + lychee + spicy pork + cilantro. Refreshing and packed with flavor! 🥗🌶️ • Coconut Tres Leches Cake – A generous slice and pretty tasty! The toasted coconut on top was fragrant and yummy. 🥥🍰 • Asparagus with Pineapple Mayo – Sounded good but was wayyy too heavy. All I tasted was mayo—couldn’t detect any other flavors. 😵 • Miso Cod – It was fine, but nothing special. The server said it was a "large portion," but it felt like a single serving. 🐟 • Cheesy Rice Cakes with Red Sauce – Super basic. A bit confused why this was on the menu at a "New American" spot. 🧀🤔 • Beef Sandwich Pasta – Just a regular beef pasta—nothing stood out. 🍝 Have you been to Rose’s Luxury? What did you think—worth the hype? Share your experience below! 👇💬 #DMVFood #Foodie #MichelinStar #DiningDC #RestaurantReview #DCFineDining #MichelinDC #FoodCritic
