🤵 Chicago's Next-Level Tapas — Bazaar Meat

I’ve recommended this place so many times, and this time I brought my parents along! ❤️ 🍷 Pic 1: Complimentary non-alcoholic drink and foie gras puff — such a generous and tasty welcome! 🍷 Pic 2: Their upgraded Philly cheesesteak — cheddar cheese sauce hidden inside a soft pillow-like bun that bursts with flavor in one bite. Topped with slices of Kobe beef… so rich and satisfying! 🥪✨ 🍷 Pic 3: Chef’s special taco made with nori, ham, caviar, and gold leaf — fancy and delicious! 🌮💫 🍷 Pic 4: Foie gras cotton candy — sweet marshmallow wrapped around savory foie gras. A perfect mix of salty and sweet! 🍷 Pic 5: Summer peach salad made with green peaches (not the traditional yellow ones), burrata cheese, crushed hazelnuts, and crispy croutons. So refreshing and light! 🍑🥗 🍷 Pic 6: Chicken potato croquettes with truffle — really tasty, though I wish there was a bit more meat in them. 🍷 Pic 7: Classic caprese salad — tomatoes and basil are always a refreshing combo. The mini mozzarella balls burst with flavor! 🧀🍅 🍷 Pic 8: Vegetable version of tomato tartare — looks and feels like the classic beef tartare, but made entirely with tomato. So creative! 🍷 Pic 9: Grilled octopus leg with potatoes — super tender and bouncy! 🐙 🍷 Scallops (forgot to take a pic 😅) — a bit too salty this time. Not sure if the chef went heavy-handed today. 🍷 My favorite hanger steak coated in coffee powder (also forgot a pic 🥲) — lean but not dry, tender with a nice chew! 🍷 Roasted suckling pig (no pic, sorry!) — we got a small portion since our group was small. The flavor and texture were just like the whole pig version, though the skin wasn’t as crispy. The service here has always been great. Even though the kitchen was a bit slow during our visit, they made up for it with two complimentary dishes and dessert! 🍰🤵‍♂️ Perfect for business dinners or dates.
