Chicago Cuisine | S.K.Y. Asian Fusion by a Michelin Apprentice

I saw on their official website that their head chef and owner is an apprentice of the three-Michelin-star chef Jean Georges Vongerichten, the Jean-Georges who opens restaurants all over the world! Their cuisine has a bit of an Asian flair, and they have an open kitchen. Initially, there's a bit of a wait, but the dishes start coming out one after another quite quickly afterwards, except for the desserts which take a bit longer. They are the most plate-changing restaurant I've ever been to, almost as if they want to change your plate after every single dish 🤣 📖 Reservations are a must! All of their main courses are delicious! The desserts taste great too! I recommend ordering them à la carte! The chef's 🧑🏼‍🍳 menu is mainly about the experience; they are all visually appealing, but not every dish is to my liking. A friend recommended their Brunch (on weekends) saying it's delicious, I'll have to try it next time! S.K.Y. Fried Chicken❤️ Surrounded by creamy corn, this little chili sauce is a real favorite of mine. This fried chicken is the best of the meal, with a very crispy exterior and tender, juicy inside. The corn is also very fragrant, it's just too delicious. #StudyingInUSA #Chicago #Food #HiddenGemRestaurants #FoodSharing #InternationalStudents #ChicagoCuisine
