Chicago Dining Exploration | Bistronomic (My Favorite French Cuisine)
I've tried so many French restaurants in Chicago, and in my opinion, this one truly stands out in terms of quality. 🌟 For starters, we ordered foie gras, garlic snails, and Tuna Tartare (which is actually their "Tatare of the Day" – the variety changes each time). Every single dish was delicious, with no misses! The foie gras mousse was a bit rich, but they paired it with a sweet and tangy fruit jam that made it incredibly appetizing when eaten with bread. 🍖 For the main courses, we had: 1️⃣ Duck Breast – It had a minor flaw. Their duck breast was probably around medium-rare (60-70% cooked), and the center was quite chewy, almost tough to bite through. The duck flavor was very strong, so if you're not a fan of the gamey taste, you might want to skip this one. 🦆 2️⃣ Lamb Shank – This was from their special dinner menu. While it wasn't their signature dish, it was still very tasty. The lamb shank was tender and well-seasoned, with a mild gaminess. The texture was excellent in my opinion. 🐑 3️⃣ Beef Bourguignon – This was my personal favorite among the main courses. The beef was served with pasta, and it was incredibly tender and flavorful. I highly recommend it! 🥩 #ChicagoFoodExploration #ChicagoRestaurants #ChicagoCuisine #ChicagoDining #ChicagoFrenchCuisine
