Chino Hills State Park|East of Los Angeles 🌤️🌼

The air right before it rains is absolutely amazing! Blue skies, fluffy clouds – I wanted to see some wildflowers, but there aren’t too many blooming just yet. 🌷 We paid $10 for a vehicle pass to drive up – a lot of people parked along the residential streets and hiked up, but honestly, I’m not much of a climber! 😅 If you’re not super into intense exercise, I’d recommend driving up to save energy. Last time I came, I didn’t drive up and couldn’t make it very far – I had no idea how vast this park really is! 🚗💨 There’s one trail that looked especially beautiful – probably covered in little yellow flowers when they bloom. Sadly, the parking lot near it is tiny (only fits 4-5 cars), and it was full when we went. If you want to check it out, you can park at a bigger lot further up and walk back – just be ready for a bit of a trek! 🥾 We visited on a Friday and didn’t see full fields of flowers yet – might be worth waiting a bit longer for peak bloom! ⏳ 📍 4721 Sapphire Rd, Chino Hills, CA 91709 Have you been to Chino Hills State Park during wildflower season?
