🥨 Cincinnati / Columbus / Pittsburgh

The one I visited is at 200 3rd St, Newport, KY 41071, so I can’t speak for the other two locations! 🥨 This place is super popular – it’s located near downtown Cincinnati, so I’d recommend making a reservation. It’s been around for over 20 years, with three locations across Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky. 🥨 The vibe is casual and fun, with live music! If you go on your birthday, the band will even play “Happy Birthday” for you 🎉🎶 🍺 All the beer is brewed in-house – you can even get fun flavors like pineapple or blood orange! I’m not usually a beer drinker, but I finished a whole glass of their light, refreshing brew. 🍗 For starters, we got the appetizer platter: two giant pretzels + assorted fried bites. The apple dipping sauce was delicious – and the portion was huge! 🍖 For mains, we ordered the pork shank and sausages. Each comes with creamy mashed potatoes (so rich!) and mild sauerkraut. The pork was fall-off-the-bone tender 💯, and the sausages had a thin, crispy skin with great flavor. 🍰 Of course, we had to try the Black Forest cake! Big slice, balanced chocolate and cream, boozy cherries… and not too sweet 👌 💰 Prices are similar to Texas Roadhouse, and portions are massive – great value! Perfect for group gatherings or birthdays 🥳 🤤 Follow me for more Trader Joe’s & Costco hauls, easy recipes, and U.S. food & travel guides! #HiddenGems #OhioEats #Cincinnati #GermanFood #FoodReview #USRestaurants #BirthdaySpot #AmericanLife #FoodieAdventure #PittsburghEats #KentuckyFood
