🍜 Cincinnati | Accidentally Found The BEST Japanese Ramen in Town! 🤩
Meet Cafe Mochiko — famous by day for its pastries and by night for its incredible Japanese ramen! 🎌✨ They change their ramen menu weekly (yes, weekly!), so your bowl is always a surprise. Follow them on Instagram to see what’s cooking this week. 🗓️ Heads up: Their hours are limited — always check before you go! Walk-ins only — no reservations! Be ready to line up! 🚶♀️🚶♂️💨 We went for dinner on a Sunday. Doors open at 5 PM, but we arrived around 4:30 PM and there was already a small crowd! By 5, the place was completely full. The space has about 15 tables plus bar seating — cozy and always buzzing. You grab a menu at the door, find your seat, and order when you’re ready. Here’s what we tried: 1️⃣ Cincinnati-Style Ramen If you’ve tried Skyline Chili, you’ll get this fusion masterpiece! 🍜❤️ Rich, slightly spicy broth with tomato notes, loaded with meat sauce and melted cheese. Absolutely comforting and unique! 2️⃣ Shoyu Ramen A classic Japanese ramen that takes you straight to Tokyo. Perfectly cooked noodles in savory soy-based broth, topped with tender chashu, soft-boiled egg, fresh scallions, and greens. Authentic and soul-warming. 🥢💖 3️⃣ Pork Katsu Sando Creamy Hokkaido-milk-style bread 🍞, filled with juicy, crispy pork cutlet. Topped with mayo, pickles, and greens (I skipped the pickles 😅). Served with a cool potato salad on the side — salty and delicious! 4️⃣ Karaage (Japanese Fried Chicken) Crispy on the outside, incredibly juicy inside. Four boneless pieces served with lemon and mayo — the perfect combo. We finished this in seconds! 🍗🔥 Next time — I’m definitely going early for their bakery items! Everything looked amazing. 📍 Cafe Mochiko 💻 Follow them on IG for the latest menu and hours! #CincinnatiFood #OhioEats #HiddenGem #RamenLover #JapaneseFood #USAFoodFind #CincinnatiWeekend #FoodieReview #BestRamenUS
