Cincinnati | Cozy Homemade Pasta Spot 🇮🇹💖

Found an incredibly affordable and heartwarming Italian restaurant downtown — where handmade pasta and rich sauces take center stage! We tried two pastas, bread, and grilled shrimp — all for just ~$30 per person 🍝🦐 The vibe is intimate and welcoming, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Inspired by the founder’s grandfather’s family dinners, this place truly makes you feel at home. (They even have a lovely Instagram full of food pics — go check it out! 📸) ✨ What We Ordered: 1️⃣ Spicy Vodka Pasta Made with mezze pasta — small, chewy, and perfectly al dente A subtly spicy vodka sauce that’s an absolute flavor bomb 🌶️🧀 No meat, but so satisfying I cleaned the plate! Perfect for those who love a little heat & big flavor 2️⃣ The Sunday Sauce Classic spaghetti in a rich tomato-meat sauce 🍅 Balanced sweetness and acidity — not too tangy Topped with parsley (not basil) Includes a tender pork meatball and braised pork shoulder — fall-apart tender! A must if you’re craving meat + pasta comfort 3️⃣ Grilled Shrimp 🍤 Jumbo shrimp, super fresh Served with salsa verde — a zesty blend of tomatillo, jalapeño, onion, lime, and cilantro Refreshing and bright — a delicious first try for me! 4️⃣ The Dunk (Bread Basket) Comes with olive oil, vinegar, and herbs — not butter A bit too oily for my taste 🫒 Bread itself is decent, though crusty and on the drier side If you’re in Cincinnati and craving authentic, handmade pasta in a cozy setting — don’t miss this spot! Ideal for dates, family meals, or solo pasta indulgence 🥰🍷 #CincinnatiEats #OhioFood #HandmadePasta #ItalianFood #DateNightSpot #ComfortFood
