To all the sweet souls who recommended these lovely spots โ you deserve a virtual hug! ๐๐๐ This past month, I made it my mission to visit more local cafรฉs and bakeries โ and hereโs my little report back full of love and lattes โค๏ธ ๐ฑ Urbana Cafe (Pendleton Location) Located in a well-kept area near downtown, this cafรฉ felt fresh, clean, and easy to access (street parking wasnโt a nightmare โ bonus! ๐ ฟ๏ธ). The space is designed across three tiered levels, each with its own vibe โ minimalist, spacious, and oh-so-comfy. A perfect spot to work or unwind. ๐ฟ Collective Espresso (OTR / Near Ziegler Park) A small but mighty gem on the edge of Over-the-Rhine! Morning sunlight pours through the windows ๐ , and you can watch swimmers doing laps in the pool across the street. The regulars โ joggers, neighbors โ bring such a warm community feel. Plus, the prices are super fair. A true neighborhood favorite ๐ ๐ชด Brown Bear Bakery Just a short walk from Collective Espresso โ and OMG, the chocolate croissant ๐ฅ! I went at 8:30 AM as a fresh batch came out โ still warm, shatteringly crisp, with a dark chocolate filling that wasnโt overly sweet. One of the best pastries Iโve had lately โ highly recommend! Noticed lots of people grabbing their savory pastries too โ next on my list ๐ ๐ Allez Bakery A block away โ this place specializes in high-hydration sourdough and rustic breads. I took home a loaf that made a whole week of delicious sandwiches ๐ฅช โ chewy, glossy crumb, just perfect. Also tried their carrot cake ๐ฅ โ a tad sweet for me, but loaded with nuts, raisins, and a bright touch of orange zest ๐ ๐ฅ Mom Nโ Em Coffee (Clifton Location) A bit farther out, but worth the trip! This two-story corner spot is filled with plants, art, and wine-bottle decor ๐ท (their Wi-Fi password is drinkmorewine โ mood ๐). I tried the ube latte โ tasted like taro milk candies from my childhood ๐!
