Okay, I might be a little clickbaity with the title, but Le Bar à Boeuf is hands-down my favorite French restaurant in Cincy! 🥂✨ Founded by the late culinary legend Jean Robert, this spot keeps most of his classic dishes alive. The servers are incredibly knowledgeable and take time to explain both the wine list and the menu in detail. That said, there are a few quirks: the decor feels a bit dated, and the staff is… seasoned (lovely grandparents, truly! 😅). Sometimes they’re a little hard of hearing or shaky-handed, which can make asking for things feel awkward. I also suspect the kitchen might have some senior members—once or twice, we noticed not-perfectly-clean utensils (eyesight, maybe?). But honestly, these are small flaws—the food absolutely shines!
