First time dining here. Enjoyed cocktails at the bar to start with another couple. Barkeep was very engaging and also made great drinks. Once we were seated the expectations dwindled . Young lady offered water and was friendly. Then our server appeared and was not great. Shouldn’t be working at a restaurant of this caliber. He rattled off the specials and then was ready to take our order. No we wanted to enjoy our cocktails and catch up with our friends. He showed up twice in the next 5 minutes. Are you ready to order now. No we were not. At that point he was acting as being put out and then didn’t show up again. It just seamed from the server and also from the hostess that we were being rushed. The place was not crowded. The food was very good but I’ve had better. The lamb was not cooked to order and the sea scallops were under cooked. After serving our food he never returned to check on the table. I cannot recommend nor will I return....

The foie gras tart with blue cheese and pear tasted just like the one you would sometimes see as a special at Pigalls or Table, and the portion was so generous, my husband and I had no problem sharing it. For dinner he opted for the filet with bordelaise, mustard greens, fava beans and mushrooms as well as creamy herbed potato. When I heard that one of the specials was JR Reds Lobster Salad, I started reciting the ingredients to the server and she laughed. It was one of my favorite dishes at Table - raddichio, red pepper, red onion, radishes and greens, topped with perfectly cooked lobster and a sprinkle of cracker Jacks. Read moreThis place was never amongst the best but it has really taken a dive or we were there on a bad night. My husband’s scallops were done nicely, potatoes undercooked. Shrimp appetizer with mushrooms was good. My NY strip was medium instead of medium rare. Brussel sprouts were average. My cousin’s NY strip was a thin and well done and he got mashed potatoes instead of FF. They remade his but we were all almost finished when his arrived and there was no discount. There was a trainee waiter who learned bad skills. I felt sorry for him. His trainer waitress didn’t show him how to serve and she didn’t tell us when something wasn’t available on the menu before we chose. She was polite however.
