So grateful to have spent this birthday with 🐻❄️, who took me on a Michelin star adventure. This place was absolutely delicious and totally blew me away! We originally considered the $165 per person 4-Course Tasting Menu, but since we wanted to try the same dishes, ordering à la carte turned out to be more cost-effective. We chose five dishes and one dessert—every single one was incredible. The cocktails were also amazing… I already want to go back! Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. 📍 Citrin Restaurant 1104 Wilshire Blvd Suite A, Santa Monica, CA 90401, United States 💵 Price: 150 – 300 per person 🕒 Hours: Tuesday – Saturday: 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM Closed Monday & Sunday 🅿️ Parking: The restaurant offers $15 valet parking, otherwise you’ll need to find paid street parking nearby—it’s not easy to park! 💎 Recommendations: ✨ Just What I Needed – A yuzu-passionfruit cocktail, so good I had two! 🍸 ✨ Tomato Soup – Served with strawberry ice cream—surprisingly delicious! We ordered one portion and had it split for two. My favorite dish—a must-order! 🍅🍓 ✨ Truffle Risotto – Freshly shaved truffle, and they were generous… maybe a bit too generous, as it overpowered the rice. Learned that more truffle isn’t always better! 🍄 ✨ Lobster Bolognese – My second favorite! Rich tomato flavor, and the lobster’s freshness was perfectly preserved. Only downside—the portion was too small! 🦞 ✨ 16 oz Brandt Beef Ribeye – One of the best steaks I’ve ever had, though it was a bit too rare—more like blue rare. Should’ve asked for a longer cook! 🥩 ⚠️ Note: The main entrance is on 11th Street. We first went to Wilshire Blvd and thought we were in the wrong place—there was graffiti everywhere, and we had to ring a doorbell.
