CITRINE L.A — Local services in Los Angeles

Before more time keeps passing, I would like to leave my opinion based on my experience from coming here. I was here several weeks ago. -I wouldn't have mind paying the price I did for a pedicure, but based on the service I received, I would not come back. Even if it's only 2 minutes away from me. It's overpriced. I did not get a Russian pedicure, but I paid a high price, for a gel pedicure with the callus treatment add on. The treatment was not thorough. I didn't have a lot of it, but I still like to get it done. My feet were left horribly. The whole bottom of my feet were left so raspy that I had to finish the work at home. Also, the gel may have either been low quality, or the technique for gel application was also not thorough, that it started falling a week later. Overall, this place has left me resentful, to ever be back. Of course, I tipped the nail tech after the service, because that is what you do when you receive a service. So I spent about $75 total, for a pedicure, and was very unhappy with the outcome. If you're like me and consider nail maintenance an essential yet exhausting errand, reconvene at Citrine.

I serendipitously stumbled upon this spot one rainy afternoon, when I needed a pedi (one I'd been procrastinating on) but all other salons were booked.

Since Citrine is brand spankin' new, they were able to squeeze me in.

I dragged myself there before work, ready to bury myself in a book. I'm used to non-English speaking nail technicians. I braced myself for the typical awkwardness of nail salon set-ups ("Wait, where do I foot which foot when?!") while distracting myself from co-worker conversations in foreign languages.

Nope, not here.

This is the Elle Woods therapeutic nail experience I've only dreamt about but never truly experienced.

Until now.

Vanessa made my gel removal and then pedicure a painless, actually enjoyable experience in which time flied...and I was also able to vent and have a genuinely fun time talking to her. Beyond a nail guru, she's the best therapist!

So decided to give it a go on this brand new nail salon on the block for a pedicure & manicure before my up coming vacation, Marla help me out right away and very professional and clean work, she was very gentle and efficient with her work not too cut me ( little scared because had a bad experience on the last place) not here they sure take pride on their work and it shows. Overall wonderful experience, affordable price and reasonable, loved the luxury service they provided loved the atmosphere were you know nail tech love there career, very calm, not rushing it, nice and helpful, I sure am a very satisfy customer can’t wait to come back thanks Citrine LA Nails
