Clam Ramen in LA's Little Tokyo 🍜✨
While shopping in Little Tokyo, I spotted a new ramen spot right across from the parking lot—as a ramen fanatic, I had to try it! Hinodeya Ramen is run by its fourth-generation owner, serving wafu-ramen (Japanese-style ramen). It won 🥇 Best Ramen in Japan back in 2014 and opened its first overseas branch in San Francisco in 2016. This time, I ordered the Clam Ramen and Chicken Broth Ramen, plus a classic Japanese side: Karaage Chicken 🍗 🍜 Clam Ramen: The broth was incredibly fresh and flavorful! The noodles are on the thicker side, and the first bite truly amazed me. Generous amount of clams, and adding their house-made chili oil made it even richer. The chili oil is super fragrant with a hint of sesame—not too spicy, so it’s great even for those who can’t handle heat. 🍥 Chicken Broth Ramen: It may look simple, but the taste is outstanding! Out of all the chicken ramen I’ve tried, this one definitely ranks #1. The sesame aroma stands out, the broth isn’t greasy, and it feels light yet satisfying. I might even like it more than the clam one! ⭐ Highly recommended – I’ll absolutely be back! Perfect atmosphere, perfect flavor. Next time, I’m trying their pork cutlet ramen—it already looks irresistible from the photos! 📍 Hinodeya Ramen Little Tokyo 232 E 2nd St Suite B, Los Angeles, CA 90012 💬 What’s your favorite ramen spot in LA?
