Colorado | 3-Day Food & Fun Itinerary (Perfect for Planners! ποΈ)
Day 1οΈβ£: Colorado Springs Took the Cog Railway π up to Pikes Peak β booked in advance with onsite parking ($20). Chose Car A for the best views πͺ! β οΈ No restroom on the train. Stayed at the summit for 40-50 mins β breathtaking views ποΈ, snacks available, and yesβ¦ itβs chilly up there! βοΈ Some friends had altitude sickness, so take it easy! After descending, headed to Jade Dynasty for a satisfying meal π₯’. Also visited Garden of the Gods π β similar vibe to Red Rocks, but equally stunning! Day 2οΈβ£: Idaho Springs Went whitewater rafting π£βοΈ β so underrated (only a few posts about it online!) Three difficulty levels β we picked the easiest (chill vibes only π). Scenery was gorgeous ποΈ, water was refreshingly cool π§. Each raft fits 6-8 people + one guide π§βπ¦° (super friendly!). Honestly? My heart didnβt raceβ¦ I even got a little seasick π«’, but still totally worth it! Day 3οΈβ£: Rocky Mountain National Park No introduction needed β itβs iconic! π»ποΈ If you have a Bear Lake timed entry ticket π«, try not to be late! We booked 8-10 AM slot β showed up late and had to wait till 2 PM to enter π . Plan ahead and arrive on time! Day 4οΈβ£: Denver Downtown Dumpling Factory π₯ is a MUST β they have everything: pancakes, chilled noodles, wonton, tofu pudding, fried dough sticksβ¦ SO GOOD! β οΈ Go on weekends β weekday menu is different (and less exciting!). #Colorado #RockyMountains #RMNP #Denver #DenverFood #TravelGuide #Rafting
