I had family visiting from out of town and we took a trip to Idaho Springs for a small hike, lunch, and shopping. My family was here for a wedding and my aunt in particular was looking for a necklace and matching earrings to wear for the occasion. There are two owners. One is was very professional and extremely helpful answer questions and showing pieces etc. My cousin who was also with our group actually ended up purchasing a wooden watch from him. The other owner well i could barely tell he worked thereā¦..
My aunt is a very successful lawyer in Mexico was the reason we came into this store and i was helping her with any questions she may have and to fill any gaps with any English she didnāt understand. In the middle of our shopping experience a second man approach us in a cut raggedy cut off shirt, and baggy gym shorts, with a bird on his shoulder. I asked him if he worked there when he approached us because i honestly wasnāt sure and confused by him approaching us. He was extremely offended by my simple question and aggregately told me that he was the owner. Love that you are the owner and you get to make your own rules etc. but if you show up to work looking like you just rolled out of bed and potentially looking a little homeless looking donāt be shocked if people are confused if you are even an employee at your shop.
Our interaction was very hostel after i asked him if he worked there. My aunt found a necklace that she loved a yellow amber necklace and wanted to see if they had matching earrings. The questionable looking owner was now the one helping us our entire experience flipped from when we originally walked in 10 minutes prior. He started going on about how he made all pieces one of a kind blah blah blah 15 minutes later and that was all he had. We just wanted earrings that would look good and be a match with the piece she found not to be talked down to or lectured. She actually had Pearl earrings she brought with her that could also work with that yellow amber necklace. However she pulled me aside and told me she did not like his tone or the service he was giving us. I agreed with her and we decided to leave him with the piece even though she was ready to purchase it. This same a guy start taking to us about shipping items to us which we found odd since we told him specifically we were there for a wedding and the jewelry would be for this weekend⦠plus this is such a small item that could fit anywhere why in the world would we need to ship it?!?!? We couldnāt get out of here fast enough.
Congratulations i guess for owning your shop so you can dress and act anyway you want. To the other owner who originally helped us and who seems to know what he is doing, and we would have totally bought several items from; your business partner is not a wise decision in my opinion from what we experience. Sometimes itās better to be alone than with someone who is going to hold you back instead of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen I walked in this establishment for the first time the store owner Was very polite and welcoming. He asked questions of what I was looking for and was extremely attentive to my response, he even asked follow up questions because he really wanted to help me and get a better understanding. After a bit of talking he was able to point me in the direction I was looking for and what he had in mind was exactly what I needed. As I checked out we stayed and chatted for maybe 10 minutes and this man is EXTREMLY good hearted and a great dealer. My experience was more than amazing and I even went back two more times and I will keep coming back. It is not the product he sold me that bought me as a customer it was there generosity, intellect, the person who the owner of the shop is on the inside. That matters to me more that the product itself and when I buy from someone I look for honesty and genuinely. He had that and MORE! Go see him, go talk to him, go ask him questions! They are extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. Not to mention the shop...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would highly recommend this beautiful unique jewelry store. My husband and I visited a few weeks ago visiting from Massachusetts. Every person that walks in the store rolls a 6 sided die and gets a prize. My husband and and I received a small glass filled with real gold flakes and a crystal. The prices were very reasonable and the pieces were well made. The owner Andrew was very knowledgeable and friendly. He let us watch the process which he used to resize the ring very carefully so the stone stay in pure form. Extremely...
