Colorado | Aspen Snowmass 🏂🏻 Viceroy
To avoid the Thanksgiving and Christmas rush, I took 5 days of PTO right after Thanksgiving for an off-peak trip—and it turned out to be a brilliant idea! The ski resort and accommodations were amazing. Rocky Mountain👍 New York ✈️ Denver Rented a car at the airport and drove 1.5 hours to the Rocky Mountains. Although winter is the off-season and we didn’t see any wildlife, the frozen Dream Lake was absolutely stunning! Highly recommend the cabin we stayed in—the view from our balcony was incredible, and it was just a 5-minute drive from the park entrance. Iron Mountain Hot Springs🎶 We noticed this hot springs town was on the way to Aspen, so we decided to stop for a soak. It’s only about 40 minutes from Aspen by car. Recommend getting the WorldSprings access ticket for access to additional pools inspired by different countries. Aspen Snowmass😂 We headed to Aspen early in the morning and arrived at the hotel by 11 AM. After dropping off our luggage, we hit the slopes right away. This time, we stayed at the ski-in/ski-out resort—Viceroy. The experience was beyond fantastic! Every morning, we geared up at the hotel’s ski shop, and the hotel shuttle helped carry our boards and dropped us off at the lift entrance. They also dried and cleaned our ski boots daily and waxed our snowboards. It truly set a new standard—my boyfriend said he’s never staying anywhere that’s not ski-in/ski-out again 😂 Only a few runs were open in early December, but it was more than enough for us beginners. After all, we’ve never seen slopes this beautiful on the East Coast! #Colorado #Aspen #SkiColorado #ColoradoTravel #Thanksgiving #Christmas #NorthAmericaTravel #Skiing #AspenAccommodation #RockyMountains 🏔️❄️
