Colorado Boulder|Izakaya Amu
During my recent trip to Boulder, I immediately had my eye on this Japanese restaurant. ✅The first time I went, it happened to be Ramen Night, so they weren't serving sashimi or other items—only ramen and small dishes. Shabu Shabu🍲A small pot filled with assorted vegetables, served with a side plate of beef. The broth is light and refreshing, making it perfect for a solo meal. Salmon Sashimi🍣While it doesn't quite compare to what you'd find in Los Angeles, it was still relatively fresh. Tonkatsu Ramen🍜This is only available on Ramen Night and isn't served regularly. The broth is rich and flavorful. 💫Sesame Ice Cream This was the special dessert of the day. As someone who loves black sesame ice cream, I have to say this was the best I've ever tasted—the flavor was incredibly rich! 💫Eel: Two small pieces of eel. To be honest, it tasted just like the instant eel you can buy at the supermarket—simply reheated. Crab Porridge🦀️: I thought it would be a crab meat congee, but it turned out to be more of a soup with rice, mixed with some crab meat, mushrooms, #Colorado#BoulderTravel #JapaneseCuisine
