🍣 Columbus Food Adventure — Kura Revolving Sushi

Last time I came, I was told the wait was over an hour and missed out 😢. This time, I made sure to reserve ahead! Heads up: They don’t take phone reservations — you can either line up in person or join the waitlist via the Kura app. On weekends, expect waits of 1+ hours — plan ahead so you don’t show up to a long queue! The menu is huge — sushi 🍣, hand rolls, udon, rice bowls, desserts 🍮 — you name it. I thought the taste and freshness were pretty solid! Top picks: 🔹 Bluefin Tuna Sushi — super fresh, melts like ice cream. 🔹 Sweet Shrimp Sushi 🦐 — fresh and sweet, I ate four plates of this lol. 🔹 Seared Scallop Sushi — scallop topped with mayo and torched — hard to go wrong with that! 🔹 Uni Sushi & Miso Soup — uni can be hit or miss (one of ours was bitter). Miso soup was on the salty side. 🎁 Fun bonus: After 15 plates, you get a gachapon (toy capsule)! We pushed to 30 plates just for the toys 😂 — got a keychain and a phone stand. 💰 Price: $3.50 per plate (non-$3.50 items are on the à la carte menu). Google says $30–50 per person, but we went all out and spent $160 for two… maybe we just ate too much 😅.
