Nicola Restaurant & Bar ππππ Tried Italian here for the first time! π Saw many on Reddit saying itβs super authentic, and it definitely surprised me in a good way! Walked in for dinner without waiting. The beef carpaccio with cheese, arugula, and truffle oilβhow could it not be amazing? π The Fungi pasta with mushrooms and truffle in wide noodles was absolutely heavenly~ And the classic Fettuccini with meat sauce (bottom left) never disappoints! The lobster risotto was a tad rich though. P3 Brassato (braised beef ribs & potato gnocchi) had super flavorful meat, but the gnocchi was a bit sticky. Maybe next time Iβll ask for softer pasta! Emmettβs CafΓ© πππ Two branches on High St. The wagyu burger (top left) was just okay, but the classic breakfast burrito (bottom right) was packed with ingredients! The vibe here is nice though. β Joyaβs πππβ¨ No wonder itβs a long-time favorite! The Egg Toast-In-A-Box was overflowing with toppings, and the salad sauce balanced everything perfectly. The Not Pad Thai (bottom left) had an amazing sweet-salty fusion, and Joyaβs Fried Rice (right) was full of wok hei! Deducting points because both mains were a bit heavy and oily. π₯’ Paikβs Noodle ππππ A hidden gem of a Korean spot! The owner was super friendly. The sweet and sour pork had generous portionsβnot dry or greasy at all! The seafood noodles had great texture but were a bit spicy. The black bean noodles got a big thumbs-up from my friend! The place is semi-self-service (side dishes and utensils are self-serve), and theζ§δ»·ζ― is highβonly $20-30 per person. π Pistachio Vera πππππ An old favorite! But why was the classic pistachio latte not available in late August? π’ Luckily, I discovered the limited Blueberry Lemon Taro Latte. It sounds unusual, but the first sip was a surprise! Subtle taro and blueberry notes, followed by a refreshing lemon aroma. Definitely worth trying! π Fox in the Snow πππππ Egg sandwichβalways a must-order! π₯ͺ Though the matcha latte was a bit too sweet for me. Slurping Turtle πππππ My absolute faveβDFFC MISO Ramen! Spicy broth, juicy fried chicken, bean sprouts, and a soft-boiled eggβ¦ SO GOOD! ππ₯ #Foodie #ColumbusEats #ItalianFood #KoreanFood #Brunch #CoffeeLover #HiddenGems
