Their fish isn’t as good as Yoshi’s — honestly feels similar to what you’d buy at the supermarket next door. Last time I had sashimi here, I almost 🤢… So I’d recommend sticking to their cooked dishes — those rarely disappoint. Their miso soup and salad are pretty average too — keep expectations low. This time we sat at the sushi bar — the chef was super nice and fast, rolling sushi almost one per second! 👨‍🍳⚡ There seemed to be two chefs who speak Chinese, so… gotta watch what we say 😅. One good thing — the kitchen looked clean, with chefs constantly cleaning up. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Age Tofu — $6.50 Surprisingly delicious! Tender inside, crispy outside, served in a light sauce — lovely! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Grilled Salmon Head — $13.75 So good! No fishy taste, just rich, savory oil fragrance. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Sautéed Scallops — $16.50 Also excellent — no fishiness, crispy outside, tender inside. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ BBQ Eel Bowl — $27.99 Delicious! Clearly made in-house, not pre-packaged. Sauce wasn’t too sweet — better than Yoshi’s version. Only downside: lots of tiny bones. Their rice was amazing too — shiny, fluffy, great even plain! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Akai Hana Roll — $30 Since I wasn’t confident in their raw fish, I went with the signature roll. Very nice! Wrapped in cucumber/radish, filled with salmon, avocado, tuna, crab, and roe — great flavor combo.
