Concord Brunch— Paperboy

There aren’t as many brunch options in Sydney’s Inner West as there are in the North Shore. I usually head to Rhodes, where there are a few nice spots—great for grabbing a bite and then wandering around afterward. But when it comes to areas near Burwood, Paperboy in Concord is a must-visit! It’s a cozy American-style spot tucked away on a corner. On sunny days, sitting outside with a light breeze blowing? Total bliss ☀️ Their coffee is solid, but I’m especially obsessed with their Matcha Latte and Hojicha Latte—so smooth and flavorful ☕️. For food, their Tacos and French Toast come highly recommended too! And guess what? We also tried the super popular Uji Time Dessert while we were there—matcha lovers, listen up! This place is your paradise 🍵 We ordered 3 desserts, and here’s the breakdown: Soft Serve + Red Bean TaiyakiMatcha soft serve paired with a taiyaki (fish-shaped waffle) stuffed with red bean. Chef’s kiss—it’s a total classic! The soft serve has a rich, earthy tea flavor, the taiyaki is crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, and the red bean filling is sweet but not cloying. This was easily my favorite of the bunch 🏆 Black Sesame Taiyaki + Matcha Pocky & Chocolate SticksThe black sesame soft serve is (rich) with a subtle nuttiness and a hint of bitterness—so balanced! Paired with crunchy matcha Pocky and chocolate sticks, every bite has layers of texture and flavor 🤤. It feels like a new little surprise with each mouthful! #SydneyLife #FoodieFinds #ConcordEats #BrunchVibes #FallVibes #BostonLife#Concord #CozyWeekend #Strolling #Hiking
