Da Hu: The New “Korean Food(Top-Tier)” Spot in Concord

We tried the new Korean restaurant Da Hu in Concord—and it did not disappoint! What we ordered: Suyuk Combination (beef brisket soup) 🥘: Let’s start with the soup—chef’s kiss! The beef was so tender, and I drank every last drop of the broth. We even finished all the chives, king oyster mushrooms, and green onions in it. So hearty! Kalbijjim )with Cheese Topping 🧀: We got it with level 1 spiciness, and it came with 2 servings of rice. The flavor was incredible—super savory and perfect with rice. But here’s the thing: we were already stuffed from the beef soup by the time this came out, so we could barely finish it! Pro tip: For 2 people, ordering just one dish is more than enough—they’re that portioned out! We had 3 adults and 2 kids in our group, which triggered an 18% party fee. But honestly, it was totally worth it for the service: The staff helped stir our beef soup and used a blowtorch to melt the cheese on the Kalbijjim (so fun to watch! 🔥) When one kid dropped their spoon, they brought a new one right away without us even asking. They noticed we’re Asian and proactively offered barley tea—such a nice touch! Total bill was $235. Overall, we were super happy with both the food and service. Highly recommend! #NewYork #Boston #WaldenPond #WeekendLife #Weekend #Outing #WanderingThroughFamousLiteraryGardens #MinimalistLife #HenryDavidThoreau #Concord #CozyWeekend #Strolling #Hiking
