Conquering Golf Courses Across Los Angeles 🏌️♂️
Course: Brookside E.O. Nay Course Address: 1133 Rosemont Ave, Pasadena, CA 91103 Length: 18 holes, Par 70/72; 7,104 / 6,025 yards Setting: This shorter Nay course features a few understated holes and is less challenging than the Koiner course (which I reviewed earlier—check that post if you missed it!). However, it offers a relaxed round with concrete “creeks” and small greens to navigate, all on relatively gentle terrain. Located next to the world-famous Rose Bowl 🏟️, this spot is popular—the driving range often has lines almost daily. The fairways are generously wide, and the course is well-maintained, ranking above average among public courses. Several holes run along paths where you’ll see plenty of joggers 🏃♀️ enjoying the scenery. Greens: Trickier than they look! They appear flat but have subtle yet significant slopes and breaks. Bunkers: Soft and manageable—not too many hazards overall. 🌴 Difficulty: 6.5/10. Suitable for golfers of all levels looking for a solid practice round. Recommendation: 7/10. The biggest advantages are its prime location and frequent golf-related events. It’s easily accessible right in the city—perfect for spontaneous rounds, whether same-day or next-day. Tee times are relatively easy to book! Have you played at Brookside E.O. Nay or another course in LA? What’s your go-to spot for a relaxed yet satisfying round?
