Iβve always had a soft spot for Hotel Clermont β especially that iconic rooftop! πΈ The drinks are delicious, the vibe is effortlessly cool, and the views? Absolutely unbeatable. π A few years back, I celebrated my birthday solo at Tiny Louβs β while I canβt recall every detail of the meal, the beautiful design and unforgettable atmosphere left a lasting impression. πβ¨ Recently, I booked a night there again. There was a small hiccup with my room reservation, but Jamaya handled it with total care and professionalism. Shawn was also incredibly helpful, assisting me with storing my items securely. π§³π The room itself was charming, cozy, and perfectly quaint β ideal for a relaxing night in. The bed was so comfortable, I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud! π΄π€ One thing I noticed: there was a pretty strong musty smell on the 5th floor β like something old and not well-ventilated. It wasnβt strong inside the room, but definitely noticeable in the hallway. Some of my favorite little touches? The earplugs, the plush bathrobe, and the lovely champagne on arrival β such thoughtful details that made me feel right at home. π₯𧴠I also revisited the rooftop, which has had a nice refresh. Itβs now partially enclosed β great for all-weather hangs while still offering those stunning skyline views. πβ€οΈ Now for the tough part: unfortunately, my car was stolen overnight. Iβd parked across the street on Bonaventure (free parking π ΏοΈ), and while the hotel isnβt responsible, it was definitely a hard way to end the trip. As an Atlanta local, Iβd never experienced anything like this β a real reminder that sometimes itβs worth paying a bit more for secure parking or valet. ππ¨ Still, Taral at checkout was incredibly patient and kind β she gave me space to handle the police report and gather myself emotionally. Even with that rough ending, I still love Hotel Clermont. It has a unique charm and warmth I truly connect with β and yes, Iβd definitely consider staying again.
