Creole-Style Breakfast in Boulder

🥑Lucile's Creole Cafe On our way from Denver to Black Hawk, we decided to spend Sunday morning in Boulder and were lucky enough to find Lucile's! 🍺It felt like a true Eastern discovery—a charming house with a front porch, just a few blocks from Pearl Street. 🍒Tucked away among the aspen trees, this log cabin restaurant greeted us with the buttery aroma of freshly baked biscuits. 🍕 Inside, we saw red checkered tablecloths adorned with colorful jam racks, and servers bustling around with coffee pots. 🍦The signature fried chicken had a crispy crust that sang with the symphony of Cajun spices. With the first cut, the juices pooled like a stream on the plate. 🥖The mashed potatoes, velvety and smooth, were drenched in a crawfish gravy that made us want to lick the spoon clean. 🫑roasted beets paired with goat cheese and pecans, creating an explosion of sweet and tangy flavors in the mouth.
