Croatia 🍴 Restaurant Guide | Foodie Diary

After 10 days of eating, I gained 10 pounds (okay maybe not, but I'm too scared to step on the scale now 😅) Pro tip: Reservations can be made via Google Maps links. (Bonus: Some Budapest spots included!) 🌟 Must-Visit Restaurants 1️⃣ Nautika - Dubrovnik 📍 Reservation required Stunning seaside fine dining - impeccable service & delicious food. (Tried their sister restaurants too - Panorama on the hill was disappointing.) 2️⃣ Konoba Nikola - Split Fresh seafood feast! Their langoustine cart presentation was epic. (Pasta slightly al dente.) 3️⃣ Giannino - Rovinj Cozy local gem. Walked in before 6pm for the most relaxing meal. 4️⃣ Balbi - Rovinj Istrian truffle heaven! Their truffle pasta = perfection. (Missed truffle hunting season though 😢) 5️⃣ Monte - Rovinj Upscale tasting menu (Red Course). Strong start but fizzled out. 7️⃣ Prora Restaurant - Dubrovnik That VIEW though! Food becomes secondary with this panorama. 8️⃣ Konoba Dubrava - Dubrovnik Rustic "farmhouse" experience. Must-order Peka (meat feast) - book 3hrs ahead! (A bit salty but so flavorful.) 1️⃣ 0️⃣ Dalmatino - Hvar Their octopus 🐙 = next-level tender! 🍽️ Honorable Mentions 6️⃣ Zincenco Kitchen - Budapest Late-night avant-garde dining (prepare for 3hr+ dinner). Pairing menu shines. 9️⃣ Orsan - Dubrovnik Hidden bay-side family spot. Solid food + views. 1️⃣1️⃣ Konoba Nevera - Split Chinese-tourist favorite! Adorable staff & hearty portions. 1️⃣2️⃣ For Sale Pub - Budapest Massive Hungarian portions. Convenient if no queue. 1️⃣3️⃣ Cirkusz & Franziska - Budapest Brunch royalty. Cirkusz's Benedict = worth the hype! 1️⃣4️⃣ Pörc & Prézli - Budapest CRISPY PORK KNUCKLE ALERT! 🤯 Juicy inside, crackling outside. Final Thoughts: Time to diet... though honestly, Asian food still calls my name louder 😋 #CroatiaEats #BudapestFood #HiddenGems #FoodieHeaven
