D50-52|Addis Ababa|Meeting Humanity’s Ancestors 🌍✨

Days 50-52 of my global journey: After exploring Ethiopia’s remote southern tribes, I arrived in the capital, Addis Ababa—where history goes back millions of years. 🇪🇹 National Museum of Ethiopia 🏛️ 📍 Home to humanity’s oldest relatives! 🦴 Lucy (Dinknesh): The famous 3.2-million-year-old hominid fossil (40% intact!), discovered in 1974. The earliest known upright-walking human ancestor! 💀 Omo I & II Skulls: Found in the Omo Valley, these 195,000-year-old fossils prove modern humans originated in Africa. 💀 Selam (Baby Lucy): The oldest child skeleton ever found—3.3 million years old! 🎓 Addis Ababa University & Ethnographic Museum 🏰 Once a royal palace, now a quirky museum with adorably stylized oil paintings (so charming!). 🚿 Finally… A Hot Shower! 💦😂 After 7 days in the wild, Addis Ababa felt like returning to civilization. #Ethiopia #AddisAbaba #LucyFossil #HumanOrigins #EastAfrica #TravelDeep #Paleontology #AfricaTravel 🇪🇹✈️
