I visited mainly to see family, so this guide leans toward relaxed city walk vibes ๐ถโโ๏ธ๐. ๐ Accommodation Stayed with my older brother in Grapevine โ nothing beats being a โbrotherโs kidโ for a few days! ๐ฆโค๏ธ ๐ Transportation Tips I had my brotherโs car, but if youโre visiting โ rent a car! ๐ Flew from Taiwan โ LAX โ Dallas, grabbed an In-N-Out Burger ๐ during my layover (personally prefer Shake Shack ๐) โ ๏ธ Fun (Maybe Useless) Tip: I actually slept through my boarding call at LAX ๐ดโ๏ธ โ but the gate agent just rebooked me on the next flight, no stress! So if you miss your domestic connection โ stay calm and ask for help! ๐ฝ Food & Fun Highlights Fort Worth Stockyards ๐ค A true Western experience! Saloons, vintage shops, carnival-style parades, and everyoneโs in cowboy hats. Gorgeous at sunset ๐. Texas Gun Experience ๐ซ Firearms are legal here โ you can rent and shoot under expert guidance. Loud and recoil-heavy, but a real Texas experience ๐ . Rudyโs BBQ ๐ Brother-approved Texas BBQ! Tasty but salty โ eat with toast to balance it out. No reservation needed. Highland Park Village ๐๏ธ A beautiful upscale shopping area with luxury brands, local designers, cafรฉs, and restaurants. So nice I went twice! ๐ Fogo de Chรฃo Brazilian Steakhouse ๐ฅฉ A must for meat lovers! Flip your card to green ๐ข for endless meat service, red ๐ด for a break. Great vibe, food, and service. NASA Space Center Houston ๐ Drove 4 hours to Houston โ totally worth it! Interactive space exhibits, and yes, I went a little crazy in the gift shop ๐๏ธ๐ฉโ๐. Dallas World Aquarium ๐ Stunning rainforest-themed aquarium with aquatic and land animals โ including manatees! A beautiful, educational visit. Grapevine Mills ๐ A budget-friendly mall with local brands โ lots under $50! I spent way too long in the snow gear store ๐. Historic Downtown Grapevine ๐๏ธ A charming retro town with gift shops and French-style sidewalk cafรฉs โ perfect for a slow stroll.
