Dallas: Boba Tea and Flavors of Asia

📍737 Grapevine Hwy, Hurst, TX 76054 🛥️I drove over 40 minutes just for their Guo Bao Rou (Sweet and Sour Pork)! It was truly amazing when freshly made—perfectly balanced sweet and sour flavors, with a crispy and crunchy outer layer, a slightly sticky dough, and most importantly, thick and tender meat inside. It's the kind of dish that makes you want more after every bite! However, once it cools down, the texture becomes a bit less appealing, losing its crunch. 🛥️The Jingdong Meat Pies and Grilled Cold Noodles were pretty average. The pies had plenty of meat, but they were quite greasy and salty after just one bite. The Grilled Cold Noodles were nothing special. 🌄The Fried Shrimp Chips were surprisingly good—crispy, not greasy at all. They were also the quickest to serve, making them a great snack while waiting for other dishes and chatting with friends. They also offer freshly sliced beef and lamb, which are perfect for hot pot. The prices are quite reasonable, similar to the frozen meat slices sold in supermarkets. The big steamed buns and dumplings were just okay. But considering the 40-minute drive, I felt it was worth it to bring some back. #DallasLife #DallasFood #DallasExploration #GuoBaoRou #JingdongMeatPie #HotPotMeatSlices
