Dallas:Fort Worth Museum of Science and History
🌊#GreatPlacesToTakeKids #RecommendAGoodSpot Ladies, today I want to introduce you to a museum that’s perfect for young children: the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. As I mentioned before, if you’re a member of the ASTC Passport Program, admission to this museum is free! Fort Worth Museum of Science and History 🌟Advantages: Kid-friendly: This museum is great for young children, with plenty of interactive exhibits to keep them engaged for over an hour. Diverse Facilities: It has a playground, pretend play areas, light and shadow exhibits, animal models, and my kid’s favorite—dinosaur excavation. Oh, I mean digging for dinosaurs! Ideal for Indoor Play: The indoor setting is perfect for days when the weather doesn’t allow for outdoor activities. 🚴♂️Disadvantages: Parking Fees: Parking isn’t cheap. It costs $6 for up to two hours and $12 for more than two hours. I’m not sure if members get any parking discounts. Smaller Than Perot: Compared to the Perot Museum, it’s not as large or as diverse in exhibits. Location in Fort Worth: It’s located in Fort Worth, which might not be as convenient for some. 🔥However, I wanted to highlight this museum for two reasons. First, with the ASTC Passport Program, you can visit without paying for admission, and it’s always great to explore different museums. Second, we experienced a total solar eclipse here, and my little one learned about the phenomenon firsthand. It was an amazing experience, and it added another page to their book of knowledge. #GreatPlacesToTakeKids #RecommendAGoodSpot #FamilyFunSpots #Parenting #Dallas
