After work, I rushed to enjoy a delicious bowl of unagi donburi (grilled eel bowl)! It was so yummy! Unagi Bowl (Grilled Eel Bowl) - $18.95 Me: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Partner: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The eel was half-grilled and half-fried, making it a double-cooked eel bowl. The flavors were fantastic. The rice was probably made with glutinous rice, and the sweet and savory eel sauce seeped into the rice, giving it a rich flavor. If you felt a bit greasy, you could enjoy the shredded radish on the side. The restaurant's lighting was intentionally dim, creating a very quiet atmosphere. Walking in during the day felt like a ritual. It gave me a sense of “finally ending the day and coming here to eat something” and made me feel relaxed. I don't know if it was because I was too hungry after work, but this bowl of rice was both touching and delightful. It left a deep impression on me, and I will definitely come back to eat it again. Chirashi Bowl (Sashimi Bowl) - $15.95 Me: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Partner: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Compared to the eel bowl, the sashimi bowl was just average. There really is no comparison without contrast. We both gave it four stars because it wasn't bad, but we probably won't order it again next time. Instead, we would try some other dishes. Miso Soup (included in the set) Me: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Partner: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It was delicious, with a fresh and refreshing taste and tofu cubes in it. Karage Fried Chicken Me: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Partner: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The taste was great, and the texture was crispy and tender, not dry or tough. We would definitely order it again next time. The only downside was that the accompanying sauce was a bit sour. It was an appetizer we ordered, and it cost around $5 or $6. (I couldn't find it on the Google Map menu, so I couldn't remember the exact price.) #DallasFood #DallasLife #Dallas #DallasEats #TexasCuisine
