Dallas:Yujo

Yujo Rating: ⭐️⭐️💫 🦋This place is quite small, and the interior is pretty standard. It would be better to sit at the counter, but I made a reservation error at the time. (Note that this place requires reservations, so make sure to check in advance if you plan to visit.) 🌟I tried the basic version, which included 15 courses (counting each piece of sushi as one course). There were three appetizers: oysters (very luxurious and worth ordering separately), scallops, and salmon. Then there were seven nigiri pieces (the sweet shrimp and the one with a slightly grilled surface were particularly delicious), two all-salmon nigiri (counted as one course), a bowl of tamago (egg custard), a honey cake, a soy milk ice cream, and a miso seaweed soup. The dishes were a bit average, but the ingredients were quite fresh. 😁(From what I saw online, the more visually appealing photos from this place are of the uni version of the omakase. If you plan to visit, you might want to try that. The one I ordered, called Miyabi [$75/person], was really just average and I don’t recommend it.) 🌳I also tried the sake pairing [$45/person], which included four types of sake. Personally, I found it really hard to drink. The sake made the non-fishy sushi taste fishy to me. Only the last one, which was yuzu sake, was somewhat acceptable [purely my personal opinion]. But I think this sake is better suited to be drunk with a lot of ice; otherwise, it gets a bit cloying after a while. Address: 12835 Preston Rd, Suite 216, Dallas, TX 75230 #Food #Dallas #RestaurantReview
