Dallas｜I Found the Best Local Tacos!

🥐A locally-born taco shop that completely changed my perception of tacos—seriously, incredibly delicious! 🍕This place—Velvet Taco—is something I haven’t seen in other cities. It started right here in Dallas and has been expanding over the past 15 years. This year, they’re even opening their first branch in London! 🥨 KOREAN FRIED RICE: This taco features a base of Korean-style fried rice with seasoned pork. The seasoning and sauce are incredibly fragrant but not overpowering. 🥩Every bite is deeply satisfying, with none of the traditional taco shell taste or meaty odor. It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what makes it so good, but the flavors are well-balanced and utterly addictive! 🍺 MEXI-CALI SHRIMP: Another signature item, this seafood taco is a crowd favorite. The shrimp is fried to a perfect crisp, and the combination of fresh vegetables and shrimp is incredibly tasty. The sauce is light and refreshing, leaving no greasy aftertaste! 🫑Every taco here has its own unique twist, and everyone seems to have their favorite.
