Bourbon & Banter：1914 Commerce St, Dallas, TX 75201 This speakeasy is located in the basement of the Stateler Residence. You can ask the doorman for entry instructions, and simply make a call from the phone booth to gain access. The experience was quite enjoyable, and the drinks were good too. The heart-shaped one is an off-menu cocktail called "Lover Boy," which I found to be pretty strong. The other two were from the menu; one was "Upper Hand," and I can't quite remember the name of the other one. It seems to be a popular spot, as I even ran into a former colleague here! 😱 I would definitely recommend bringing friends here. The surrounding area is also quite nice, with not many vagrants around and a great vibe. I've been traveling a lot lately, and since I got back to Dallas, I've been in a bit of a self-imposed "retreat." I've been busy with work, working out, practicing golf, and eating healthy meals. Recently, I finally got back on the golf course and realized my driver and putter skills have really slipped.🥹 Work has been hectic lately, with four projects on my plate at once.
