Rating: 18/25 Ambiance: ππππ Service: πππ Value for Money: πππ Food: ππππ Location: ππππ This is a Japanese restaurant Iβve visited twice. The place is small but bustling on weekend evenings. If you donβt want to wait for a table, itβs best to make a reservation in advance. Recommendations (β ): Sashimi: Highly recommended! The scallops are soft and sweet, with a lingering freshness. The small portion comes with five types of fish (each served twice), while the large portion includes eight types of fish (each served three times), and both include octopus with wasabi. Hand Rolls: These are great, with beautiful presentation and a variety of rich ingredients. Theyβre also quite filling. Mackerel: Fresh and flavorful, a great source of protein. Dessert: The Basque cheesecake gets the highest praiseβitβs not overly sweet. Not Recommended (βοΈ): Fried Chicken and Pork Cutlet: Disappointing. The meat is dry, and the batter has a strong flour taste. Sea Urchin and Fish Roe: Sold individually at a high price (around $15 each), and the quality is underwhelming. This is where the value for money score takes a hit. The noodles and skewers are pretty average. The hot noodle soup and curry udon are nothing special but still worth trying if youβre in the mood. The skewers leave no lasting impression. The location near DNT is very convenient. After shopping at Costco next door, this is a great place to grab a meal.
