π Dallas | If You Want Real BBQ, You Gotta Eat It in Texas! π
Back when I was in Boston, I thought Texas Roadhouse was as good as it gets β though honestly, their free pre-meal rolls often stole the show ππ. But here in Texas? Itβs a whole different ball game. We visited the famous Hutchins BBQ β and yes, there was a looong line on a weekend evening. Waited about 30 minutes for our first dine-in experience, and it was worth it! The setup is fun β you walk through like a cafeteria, pick your meats and sides, pay, then grab a seat. Right before the counter, a friendly (but seriously overheated π ) guy was handing out samples of brisket β major props to him for powering through the Texas heat with a smile! We did our homework and ordered the Brisket (half & half) β the guy serving us gave us a "you know whatβs up" look π. We also lucked out and scored the last of the Beef Rib and Texas Twinkle during the dinner rush! πΆοΈ Texas Twinkle = a jalapeΓ±o stuffed with bacon, cheese, and shredded beef. One is heavenly β more than one might put you in a food coma. π₯© Beef Rib was massive and smoky β but pretty bone-heavy. Maybe a one-time try for the experience. Sides? Honestly, you can skip βem β but hey, itβs BBQ, live your truth. π₯ Dine-in also includes free dessert and ice cream (tastes just like McDonaldβs cones! π¦). I tried a bit of each β super sweet, so I tapped out fast. π Hutchins BBQ β Locations in Frisco & McKinney π΅ ~$40-50 per person π Verdict: A true Texas BBQ experience β come hungry, come ready. Maybe donβt wear your tight jeans. π #TexasBBQ #HutchinsBBQ #DallasEats #SmokedMeats #DFWFoodie #BBQLife #EatLikeATexan
