Dallas | Late-Night Izakaya: Koi Sushi Izakaya

🌟Koi Sushi Izakaya: 1012 Mac Arthur Dr #132, Carrollton, TX 75007 I was out late one night picking up a new set of golf clubs, and most of the places around had already closed. So I ended up at this izakaya. 📕The menu didn't have a huge variety, and it seemed like the owner might be Korean, as there were quite a few Korean dishes available. But they had all the essentials. I ordered the Oden (Japanese hot pot), which I had been craving for a while. It was a generous portion, with a very flavorful and sweet broth—perfect for sharing with two or more people. The grilled skewers were also delicious, especially the bacon-wrapped enoki mushrooms. The sushi selection was limited, but the ingredients were very fresh. 🏞️The menu had plenty of other dishes that were both tasty and reasonably priced. The place was pretty busy on a Friday night, and they even had a small private room. With Japanese music videos playing on loop, it really felt like I had been transported to a little Tokyo pub. 🥩I've been traveling a lot lately and can't seem to stop. Especially after the earnings call, things have slowed down a bit, and it's the perfect time to get out and explore. 🥩Time flies! In the blink of an eye, it's almost June again. I recently switched from Corporate Strategy to Business Strategy at work. It's been really interesting, and I love the vibe of my new team. #Great Place to Drink and Dine #Business Trip Days #Dallas Food
