Nestled in the heart of Carrollton's Koreatown, this Japanese gem is a culinary adventure that will leave your taste buds doing the happy dance. The Tonkatsu Ramen deserves its standing ovation. The broth is rich and flavorful, embracing you in a warm hug, while the noodles themselves have the perfect texture – not too soft, not too firm, just right. It's the Goldilocks of ramen, stealing the spotlight on this delightful menu.
As you enter, what I can only describe as a jazzy Japan aesthetic welcomes you like an old friend, setting the stage for an evening of culinary delight. The atmosphere is tailor-made for casual hangs with friends or coworkers, making it the ideal spot for unwinding after a long day. Although our lunchtime visit limited our ability to sample drinks, the food more than made up for it. The rolls, while small, pack a punch of flavor and melt in your mouth. The chicken karaage and edamame may fall into the 'average' category, but fear not – the rice bowls are there to save the day, offering a filling and delicious alternative. The takoyaki was also amazing as it achieves the delicate balance of crispy and chewy that other establishments often struggle to master. All in all, this is the go-to spot for those seeking a casual and calm ambiance to catch up and chat with friends. We'll definitely be back, armed with an empty stomach and a craving a relaxing and warm place for a bowl of...

Perfect with the sauce they give Grilled Butter Squid - Delicious sauce and squid is cooked very well so it’s not...
Read moreIt was a truly unforgettable disaster. I'm not sure what the chef was thinking, but this was a trainwreck from start to finish. The "omakase" was less a curated experience and more a random assortment of whatever was on sale at the grocery store that morning. I've had more creative and flavorful sushi from a gas station. All the nigiri pieces tasted so plain, and the rice was very dry. I suspect they do this to make you order extra soy sauce and wasabi for an additional $10 per person. To make matters worse, they don't tell you there's a cost when you ask for it. The most disastrous part was the uni. It cost an extra $45 for uni that wasn't even fresh. I left feeling hungry and legitimately angry. Save your money and go literally anywhere else. This place is an insult to the art of sushi and a crime...
