Dallas | My Favorite Fried Chicken — Jollibee

Dallas is really convenient! There are so many food options and they’re all so close together. I remember when I had to drive almost three hours to Chicago just to get to Jollibee back in my hometown. Now, I can get there in just 10 minutes! Hahaha. I ordered a 6-piece spicy chicken — my absolute favorite! 😍 I also got an Aloha Chicken Sandwich (pineapple fried chicken burger), added a side of meat sauce spaghetti, and finished with a pineapple juice. The only thing that was a bit underwhelming was the meat sauce spaghetti. The fried chicken with gravy is just perfect! The bread in the pineapple fried chicken burger was a bit hard, and there was a big chunk of pineapple inside. 🌟 If you don’t get the pineapple, definitely ask the staff to switch it out (we ran into that situation). Anyway, I’m deeply in love with it. As a self-proclaimed Jollibee ambassador, I’ve already recommended it to all my friends. Give it a chance! Whether it’s the fried chicken (which is amazing with or without sauce — but seriously, try it with the sauce!), the meat sauce spaghetti (which reminds me of Chinese "ants climbing a tree"), the pineapple juice, or the pie, every single item hits the spot! If it weren’t for the health concerns and high calories, I could eat here every day for a week! 🫡 🤔As for the once-popular purple yam pie, it’s more like a sugary sweet potato pie. It tastes more like regular sweet potato rather than ube, and it’s noticeably sweetened with extra sugar, making it a bit salty. The fried chicken is truly amazing!
