Dallas | Restaurant Review: The Henry
🍝I finally made it to The Henry. It was so popular on Valentine's Day that I couldn't get a reservation, but after checking out some posts on Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book), I found out that most people go here for brunch. The restaurant is divided into two floors, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Now that the evening weather is slightly cool, most of the first-floor outdoor area is semi-enclosed. ⭐️Inside, there's a dedicated breakfast counter and a small bar. The menu on the first floor is more extensive than on the second floor. The second floor is also half indoor and half outdoor, with a row of fire pits outside (they're real fires—I forgot to take a photo). The upstairs area is more focused on the bar, and the menu is essentially a condensed version of the one downstairs. ✨When we made our reservation, we weren't told which floor we'd be on. When we arrived, the front desk attendant said that by default, we were booked for the first floor. The first-floor waiter told us that we could order from the first-floor menu upstairs, but the view is a bit better on the second floor. So we went upstairs. However, the second-floor staff seemed a bit unfamiliar with the process of ordering from the first-floor menu. Overall, the experience wasn't as smooth as I had imagined, but maybe it was just bad luck. ❗We ended up ordering a Pina Colada, Chilled Seafood Platter, Rigatoni Alla Vodka, and Blackened Fish Tacos. The food was all pretty good. For parking, you can validate for four hours at the front desk. Oh, and from the small second-floor terrace, if you turn to the back, you can see the Reunion Tower and the Natural Science Museum. #Discoveries #RestaurantRecommendations #DateRestaurant #AmbianceRestaurant
