Dallas | Sea Urchin Lover’s Delight: Yujo’s Uni Craze
📍 Yujo, 12835 Preston Rd suite 216 On Friday night at 6 PM, I walked in directly and was told that I could only eat for one hour. However, when I left, it seemed like there weren’t many people in the store. You can make a reservation on Tock. For the Omakase, there’s no need to book in advance. There are three options: Miyabi (Elegant) at $75 for 13 courses; Tokoju (Special) at market price for 16 courses; and Uni Craze (Sea Urchin Craze) at $130 for 10 courses. ☄️As a sea urchin lover, I didn’t need to look at anything else on the menu. What’s good is that people at the same table don’t have to order the same thing and can mix and match. How to put it? I ate a total of 11 pieces of uni. Besides otoro + wagyu + caviar, there weren’t many other high-end ingredients. It felt like it would be more satisfying to just buy a box of uni and eat it at home. But again, compared to Namo’s $70 uni tasting, Yujo’s price is less than double and it left me full, which I think is quite a good deal! 💰 After tax, it was $207, and both of us were very full (disclaimer: my husband is on a diet and his appetite is not what it used to be), and the price was very reasonable. #JapaneseCuisine #RestaurantReview #LifeInNorthAmerica #Dallas #FoodAndFun #WeekendExploration #100RestaurantsChallenge
