Dallas | TKS Chinese Cuisine – A Mixed Experience
We recently visited TKS Chinese Cuisine in Dallas and tried a few classic dishes — here’s our honest take: 🐔 Concubine Chicken (Gui Fei Ji) A bit confusing flavor-wise — the chicken itself was mild, and the dipping sauce didn’t add much taste. Pretty bland overall. 🐷 Yu Xiang Rou Si (Fish Fragrant Pork) Only pork and wood ear mushrooms — leaned a bit too sweet for our taste. Not the balanced spicy-tangy profile we expected. 🥚 Shrimp with Scrambled Eggs The salt wasn’t mixed well — some bites were too salty, others were plain. Uneven seasoning for sure. 🎃 Steamed Spare Ribs with Pumpkin in Black Bean Sauce We never got this one — it never arrived. The server kindly removed it from our bill. 💰 Total for four (after tax & tip): $55 The price was budget-friendly, but the flavors just didn’t deliver. Sadly, we won’t be returning. #DallasEats #TKSChinese #ChineseFood #DFWFoodReview #HonestEats #FoodieShare
