Dallas | TKS Chinese Cuisine โ A Mixed Experience
We recently visited TKS Chinese Cuisine in Dallas and tried a few classic dishes โ hereโs our honest take: ๐ Concubine Chicken (Gui Fei Ji) A bit confusing flavor-wise โ the chicken itself was mild, and the dipping sauce didnโt add much taste. Pretty bland overall. ๐ท Yu Xiang Rou Si (Fish Fragrant Pork) Only pork and wood ear mushrooms โ leaned a bit too sweet for our taste. Not the balanced spicy-tangy profile we expected. ๐ฅ Shrimp with Scrambled Eggs The salt wasnโt mixed well โ some bites were too salty, others were plain. Uneven seasoning for sure. ๐ Steamed Spare Ribs with Pumpkin in Black Bean Sauce We never got this one โ it never arrived. The server kindly removed it from our bill. ๐ฐ Total for four (after tax & tip): $55 The price was budget-friendly, but the flavors just didnโt deliver. Sadly, we wonโt be returning. #DallasEats #TKSChinese #ChineseFood #DFWFoodReview #HonestEats #FoodieShare
