Dallas | Visiting the Super Popular BBQ Place
✨We tried out this super popular BBQ place in Dallas. For the skewers, we ordered a small set for $35.99, which included 10 beef, 10 lamb, 10 chicken, 10 chicken gizzards, and 10 squid skewers. It sounds like a lot, but they were all small skewers (everything fit on one tray). It felt like the skewers were fried before being grilled. 🍣The seasoning was pretty good overall. The gizzards were quite crispy, the lamb was well-seasoned without being too heavy, and the squid was just okay. The beef skewers were a bit disappointing—they were very greasy, and in some places, they were overcooked to the point where they tasted like pure fat without any beef texture. The chicken was dry and lacked flavor. Another issue was that the restaurant didn't have any measures to keep the skewers warm, so they got cold as we ate, which affected the taste. 🥳In addition to the skewers, we also added Wang Zhong Wang (hot dogs, $3.50 each), roasted quail ($4.99 each, which were pretty tender and had crispy bones, likely fried first), grilled mushrooms, beef tendon, roasted potato chips, and grilled corn. All skewers come in pairs, and the flavors were decent, also fried before grilling—nothing special, just average. 🌟Lastly, we got complimentary strawberry candied skewers, which were freshly made and delicious. However, to get them, we had to post on social media. The staff would wait for us to finish and take photos to show the boss. The signal in the restaurant was poor, and it took a long time for my partner to upload her post. Overall, the flavors were good, and the service was great. Apart from the issues mentioned, the dining experience was quite enjoyable. #Dallas #DallasLife #DallasFood #DallasBBQ #BestBBQinDallas
