Dallas | Voodoo Doughnut🍩

💟I've heard that it's a popular doughnut shop from Portland. Today, I happened to be taking a walk in Lower Greenville and decided to check it out. Yes, it's that pink, over-the-top Voodoo Doughnut that requires a wait in Portland, San Antonio, Austin—basically, wherever it goes, there's a line. 🍩Their doughnuts have really unusual shapes and unconventional flavors. I chose the Grape Ade, and my friend picked the Chocolate Ring. They were incredibly sweet—sweeter than anything I've had. I usually think Krispy Kreme doughnuts are pretty sweet, but these were doubly so. I could only manage to eat half of mine. ⭐Also, for a normally operating store, it was surprising that the restroom was out of order. My friend and I had our hands covered in sugar after eating the doughnuts and had to walk all the way to Trader Joe's to wash them. 😉It's like a punk rock fashion icon in the world of doughnuts. Since I've always missed out on trying it due to the long queues, I've been really eager to give it a shot! (Of course, it might also be a case of all show and no taste.)Anyway, if you can't handle overly sweet food, I really wouldn't recommend this place. #Dallas #DallasCuisine #DallasLife #DallasExplore #FoodieDiary #Dallas
