Dallas Coffee Exploration π³ Haraz Now Has Dubai Chocolate!
Haraz: πππππ Iβve been to Haraz several times now and tried pretty much all their coffees and pastries. The Turkish coffee is very bitter and a bit gritty, but itβs incredibly aromatic and strong. The Frappe isnβt as good as the iced coffee; it tastes quite watery, like thereβs not much coffee in it. The best drinks here are the cardamom coffee and various lattes (especially the saffron one!). All the pastries are delicious π. PETIT FOUR Dessert Cafe: Food: ππππ Ambiance: πππ Coffee: π They have huge portions of Basque cake and tarts with plenty of toppings, which look very satisfying. However, because theyβre so big, they can get a bit overwhelming if you eat too much. The grapefruit helps to cut through the richness. The coffee here is pretty bad, thoughβworse than dishwater. Church Coffee: Ambiance: ππππ Drinks: ππ Price: πππππ Located deep in a neighborhood next to a church, itβs very quiet and has excellent service. The prices are incredibly low, and they even refuse all tips. I didnβt try the coffee but had some tea, which was just regular English tea bags brewed. But considering the super-low prices, bottled water wouldnβt taste much better. Sugar & Sage Bakery: Ambiance: ππππ Food: ππ Coffee: πππ A pretty average place with a fake lawn and swing area outdoors. The food looks very American and overly sweet, and the coffee is just okay. Thereβs a small park nearby with lots of water birds wandering aroundβ¦ #Dallas #DallasLife #Coffee #CoffeeExploration #CoffeeRoutine #MyCoffeeDiary
