Dallas Dining | A Roundup of Non-AYCE Korean BBQ in Dallas

This roundup is not ranked in any particular order, and overall, the prices are pretty similar across these places💰. 1️⃣ Koryo Kalbi Korean BBQ A super famous and longstanding spot in Dallas! I’ve been here countless times. The meat, grilled over charcoal, is especially fragrant. I personally think their pork is great, and the Brisket is delicious, but their beef can be a bit tough. Highlights: They offer an incredible variety of side dishes. I really love their pickled potatoes—they’re always a favorite! 2️⃣ Saemaeul Korean BBQ This BBQ place is owned by Baek Jong-won. The grilled meat here is really tasty, especially the Kkotsal, which is incredibly tender. The dipping sauce is particularly outstanding compared to other places. The seafood pancake is average—thick and with not much seafood. Highlights: Their signature dish is the cheese steamed egg🧀, but personally, I don’t find it that great. It’s very bland, and some parts have a slightly burnt taste. 3️⃣ Won BBQ Their meat is really good, and the service is exceptional. They provide full-service grilling, cooking the meat to perfection. The dipping sauce is very sweet and savory, which helps cut through the richness of the meat. Highlights: They offer some Northeastern Chinese dishes. The sweet and sour pork is okay but a bit too sour. The raw beef dish is not recommended; the meat is icy and lacks the tender texture you’d expect from raw beef. #DallasEats #DallasFoodie #DallasKoreanBBQ #DallasFood
