Dallas Dining | EBESU
🔥This week is Restaurant Week, and I tried EBESU’s dinner. It was definitely worth the money. We went for the $99 Signature Experience. For the first course, we each chose between a salad and chilled corn soup. Personally, I thought the salad was better paired, while the chilled corn soup was a bit unusual for me. The second course was sashimi. I have to say, their sashimi was really excellent. After tasting it, I immediately decided I’d come back just for the sashimi in the future. 💥For the third course, we chose between pork ribs and cod. The portion size of the pork ribs really surprised me—they gave us three huge ribs. I could only manage one and already felt full. The texture was great, and the flavor was on the sweeter side, which paired well with the corn side dish to cut through the richness. The cod was traditional miso butter, also on the sweeter side but with an amazing texture. ✨The fourth course was wagyu beef. They brought a very hot stone, and we cooked the beef ourselves on the stone. The waiter told us to cook it for about 20 seconds, but we found that a bit too long. We adjusted it to 10-15 seconds, and it was perfect—melting in the mouth. ✨For the main course, we chose between nigiri and steak. The portion size of the nigiri was astonishing again. I felt like we didn’t even need the rolls. The sashimi was still as delicious as ever. My partner said the steak was also great, but I was already too full to even try it. 💥The dessert was a large slice of cheesecake each. The $99 Restaurant Week menu was really something—very generous portions. My partner mentioned it was our anniversary when making the reservation, and the waiter thoughtfully brought out a chocolate cake with “Happy Anniversary” written on it. 🔥During Restaurant Week, they also offered a sake flight with four different flavors, which paired beautifully with the food. Highly recommended. #Dallas #DallasLife #DallasFood
